OVERVIEW: Shawn shares his discovery of what he wanted most in his life with God: to share His process.
KEY TRUTHS:
Life is a journey of choices that we make.
Shawn fell in love with the Word when he realized it was a real way to connect with God and read the stories of people in the BIble and in history who had intimacy with God.
He was always told that we connect with God so we can bring revival, not relationship.
Overcame a strong performance, "I can do it all" mindset.
The wisdom Solomon asked for was more than intuition of right and wrong. What he asked God for was how He processed. He wanted to intimately know and enter into how God thought, how He saw life, the world and people.
We want to know God's process because we have been with Him, so that when we speak or minister, we are an accurate expression of how He would do it.
Key Question: Father, what was your design for this person from the beginning of time so that they would be Jesus' reward?
Shawn highlights his uneventful development. Not everyone needs a heroic origin story to be significant. Our best story is that God had a dream of us before we were born. What was that dream?
All of us can live a wild life in God and share His process for life.
If you married someone of position and influence, your position and influences changes. We're the Bride of Christ, needing to take full advantage of what that creates us to be.
Pursuing seeing the "why" and the "how" of God's original dream for you and for others.
