From: The Gift of Unchanging Presence
Question:
Hello. I am a bit of a baby in the Spirit . I get angry or offended quite easily during work and before I signed up to this site a couple of days ago, I had begun practising at work everyday to tell myself every time I get angry that I am calm and relaxed. It has helped… but although I don’t retaliate verbally when I get angry... [but now] I hide how I’m feeling and harbour bitterness secretly.
… I really do want to become offense proof - but to be honest I don’t know how to be selfless. It seems shameful that I don’t, but I don’t. I want to prove to Jesus that I love him through my actions and keeping His commands, but I just keep failing.

Hi, you are not on your own in this! Most people arrive on this site because they want a lifestyle of being new, and different with more powerful choices. They have become fed up with practicing band aid responses to situations.
ie: we manage to do OK in a particular situation but we personally do not change. Eventually the band aid falls off and we have to re-apply. The distressing part of band aid theology is that we do not discover the majesty of how God loves us; sees us; and thinks about us.
We created this site with the Holy Spirit so that people could enjoy exploring who God is for them regardless of any circumstance :
The Questions that God asks us and those questions we can ask Him. These episodes are designed to open up a continual dialogue with The Three. Father, Son and Holy Spirit who are all lovingly and joyful intended towards cultivating a relationship that leads to a captivating fellowship n all the situations of life.
These Fruit of the Spirit episodes are a showcase that describe how the Lord can affect our emotions so that negativity in us is downgraded because how the Lord feels about us becomes so compelling that we want to engage with Him in the Fullness of His Life becoming our Way and Truth.
The Nature of Freedom series is the most mind blowing, truth enhancing, lens changing, spiritual shift that separates us from old man mediocrity and overwhelms our heart with the power of newness of life in the new man. Everything, everyday, is an upgrade.
We have an expectation that as you explore who Jesus is for you that you will most certainly discover who you really are in Him.
Welcome to the journey.
