Question: What if I don’t have a prophecy given to my by someone?
I sense a calling on my life and I declare His Word over my life. Is it possible to get a transcript of this prophecy given in this segment? If not, I will transcribe.
Graham:
Now you do! [in this episode]. The process of transcribing the word will be the beginning of your conversation with the Holy Spirit. It is that conversation that makes a corporate word personalized between you and Him. There are numerous prophetic words in the sessions here. Choose any one of them and begin the process of exploration with the Holy Spirit. These are not second-class words. Being called out in a group by a specific person for a word does not make it more powerful.
For years, my public prophetic ministry has not focused on one person being given a word. It is either in crafting corporate prophetic words or inviting others who the Holy Spirit quickens to respond to a word being given, which I did at "Making a Prophetic Impact." The impact is so much greater.
So consider as you transcribe this word:
- What is God promising?
- What are the conditions required of your cooperation with Him in this process?
- What scriptures align with the truths here? Meditate on those.
- What key words and phrases stand out to you?
It's good to make a bullet pointed version of this word, as well as a narrative form that you can read aloud to yourself and to the Lord. Our voice connects and quickens our inner man. Use the word as a devotional soaking as well as a time of meditative, relational exploration.
When we embrace the purpose and power of corporate prophetic words that have been crafted over weeks, months and even years, we're never without a prophetic word. But far more important, is always remembering that no one ever "needs" a prophetic word. We all need Jesus.
