We are wrapping up our first mentoring series on relational questions to ask God. I have loved exploring these questions and topics with you over the last several months, and hope you feel more equipped to dialogue with God and process your life with Him.
For our final episode from this series, I’m answering a few questions from the BTV community. Thank you to all who submitted a question; I love hearing your voice and where you are at in your journey with God.
Here are the questions we are looking at today:
How do you GO through the mentoring series with a BUSINESS focus?
+ We use the same processes of walking with God in business as we would in life.
+ Make sure you are really fixed on who God is for you, so you always know where you are with Him regardless of how well or badly you are doing.
+ It’s still the same issues of trust and faith but the scale is bigger in a corporate setting.
+ God is our business partner, so make sure He is not a sleeping one; dialogue with Him in a joyful conversation about your business.
What’s the DIFFERENCE and SIMILARITIES between confession, decree, and proclamation?
+ Confession is agreement and alignment with God; it is saying this is who God is for me and who I am becoming.
+ Decree is all about expressing the favor we have because we are in Jesus so that we are facing life on His level and experiencing the blessings He has for us.
+ Proclamation is used in a warfare setting where you declare what is going to come to you because you are in Christ.
Have you been in SITUATIONS where GOD doesn’t come through for you, and what do YOU do in those times?
+ I have always found God to be faithful and true, so if things aren’t coming through you have to disempower your disappointment so you don’t carry it into the future.
+ You have to ask the question to see if it was something you were asking for or something that God wanted to provide.
+ If you are in a place where resources are limited, you need to have a conversation with God and ask Him what you can believe Him for.
+ Walking by faith is really about having fellowship with God so we get to learn and practice our sensitivity to Him.
Thanks again for joining me on this series and for all your brilliant questions. I love the learning that we are experiencing as a community, and I look forward to hearing more great stories and questions from YOU!
