Today, we are looking at sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. There seems to be a perception that He is elusive, easily offended or fickle, which is so NOT true. So we are asking the question: How can I be sensitive to the Holy Spirit?
During this session, we'll be exploring:
+ How the Holy Spirit WANTS to be your close friend & how He knows you COMPLETELY;
+ Three KEY truths that will UNLOCK a life of sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
+ What to do when you are not FEELING the presence of God and you DON’T know things;
+ How our WORSHIP to God is relational and not situational.
+ And a SPECIAL crafted prayer to EXPRESS thanks and confidently ASK Him your requests.
Key Truths…
+ He’s your Best Friend, your Teacher, your Helper, and the best Comforter in the world.
+ Always assume the Holy Spirit is present, because He is!
+ The presence of God does not depend upon an emotion. It only depends on a trust.
+ Cultivate a lifestyle of rejoicing always.
+ Your chief purpose is worship, adoration, rejoicing, thanksgiving.
+ Actively ask the Holy Spirit things because He is the Spirit of disclosure.
The Holy Spirit is the one who knows everything and can tell you anything.
Key Scriptures…
+ Romans 8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
+ 1 Corinthians 6:19: Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God and that you are not your own? You have been bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body.
Crafted Prayer…
Instead of an activation, I have a crafted prayer for you that you can add to and personalize.
Crafted Prayer is the art of praying with God, not just towards Him. It’s knowing what Jesus and the Holy Spirit are praying and joining with them. We capture those words and thoughts in writing so that our prayers are targeted and sharp.
So here’s the beginning of a Crafted Prayer you can pray:
Holy Spirit, I worship You. I rejoice in Your passion for me and for my development. Thank you for being such an amazing Teacher, Helper and Comforter. Thank you for the way You see me. Thank you for Your provision in my life. Thank you for indwelling my own heart and forming Christ in me. I ask for a fresh infilling of Your true nature.
Plug all the leaks so that we can learn to overflow together. Train my eyes to see and my ears to hear you. To recognize Your ways and Your thoughts. Thank you that You are teaching me to live life from the inside out in Jesus Name...Amen!
Write down these words and then add one thing that you want to ask Him. Just a couple of lines. Stay in the place of thanksgiving and rejoicing for His provision.
Pray your prayer consistently. Then write and tell us what you discover. We’d love to hear.

We are looking at one of my favorite questions: what does it mean to dream with God? I’m not talking about dreams of the night or day dreams; I’m referring to dreaming in the context of hope and imagination, where you have a glorious expectation of something wonderful occurring because of who G...
In this episode, we are focusing on one small verse, in a small book of the Bible that has HUGE implications for our life in God. It’s in the letter that Paul wrote to his beloved friend and co-laborer, Philemon. Through looking at this scripture, we are asking the question: What Good Things Are ...
This week, we’re looking at a new topic, one that some of you have been asking about: how do we practically love those who don’t like us? I’ll be partnering the teaching with practical stories of how we love those who oppose us, so that you will know what to do when you encounter difficult peop...
