In this episode, we are focusing on one small verse, in a small book of the Bible that has HUGE implications for our life in God. It’s in the letter that Paul wrote to his beloved friend and co-laborer, Philemon. Through looking at this scripture, we are asking the question: What Good Things Are Already in Me?
During this session, we'll be looking at:
+ How you can ACCESS everything that God has DEPOSITED in you...
+ What HAPPENS when you AGREE with God and His perspective...
+ Why God can ACCELERATE your development no matter where you are at...
+ How you are FREE from performance, earning God’s approval, and climbing the ladder of success...
+ And a special PROPHETIC word about how God SEES you in CHRIST...
Key Truths…
+ When we demonstrate who God really is, the world around us will change.
+ We get to agree with Him that in Christ, all the fullness of the God-head dwells.
+ God’s process is upfront; He gives us everything up front at salvation and partners you with the Holy Spirit to work out all that you’ve received in Christ.
+ To live a life of absolute astonishment, we get to learn to be overwhelmed by Christ in us not our circumstances.
+ Our internal territory with God is the place that all our explorations begin.
Key Scriptures…
+ Philemon 6: That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
+ Luke 17:21: The Kingdom of God is within you.
+ 2 Peter 1:3: As His divine power has given to us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
+ Colossians 2:9-10: For in Jesus - all the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been (PAST tense) made complete.
Prophetic Word…
This week, instead of an activation, I want to give you a prophetic word about how God sees you fully in Christ. It’s a word that you can take as your own. You can write it out and begin to have a conversation with the Lord about what it means for your life and your development in Him.
When you listen to it for the first time, put everything down and just listen. Afterwards, go back and listen to the word several times. I encourage you to transcribe the word, pick out the key words and phrases, and highlight the promises. Pay attention to the conditions for this word to become your daily reality. Use it as a catalyst for your conversations with the Holy Spirit about what God has already given you.
I hope it causes you to take advantage of the momentum it gives to your development and overwhelms you with the passion that God has for your journey into His fullness.
