We are recapping how Kingdom learning is different from the world’s teaching through looking at the story of Gideon and how it applies to our lives.
Remember, wisdom is the understanding of how God sees and thinks about us, and why He talks to us in an elevated manner. Cultivating this wisdom is key to living the life God has in store for us. So we are asking the question: if I believe what God is saying, what are the outcomes for me?
In this episode, we will be looking at:
+ How God WORKS back from the end result to where we are standing in our inability;
+ What it means for God to HAND us the outcome as a gift of identity.
+ Why we DON’T need to be frightened of our issues because God is WITH US in them;
+ How Gideon’s story has HUGE implications for us in terms of how God works and sees us;
+ Why KINGDOM LEARNING is way above worldly learning.
Key Truths…
+ We take who God says we are and use it as a gift to walk from the present into the future.
+ Gideon must own his future identity now, here in the present, and learn how to walk in the courage of it.
+ When God shows you your identity, He is elevating you above your past and present.
+ In relational teaching, the Lord shows us our identity and then gives us the confidence that He will be with us in the process of development.
+ We are not working on our weaknesses; we are practicing the identity that God sees when He looks at us.
+ Identity, not behavior, is the key to transformation; you discover the person you already are in Christ and behave accordingly.
+ His love and vision for us obliges Him to resource and equip the identity to which we are confessing.
+ The Kingdom provides the identity you need to complete the assignment and the resources to enable you to go forward.
+ Your resources become your weapon and not your chain.
Key Scriptures…
+ Judges 6:12: The Lord is with you, O valiant warrior. (To Gideon)
+ Philemon 6: The fellowship of your faith becomes effective through the knowledge and experience of every good thing that is in you for Christ sake.
+ Judges 7:7: The Lord said to Gideon: By means of the three hundred who lapped up the water I will save you and deliver Midian into your power. So let all the other soldiers go home.
I’m excited for us to dive deeper into the nature of Kingdom learning and the wisdom that comes from it. I can’t wait to hear what you will experience as a result of stepping into your identity.
Thanks for joining, I really appreciate it.
