We are finishing up our series on Story and Journey with a Q & A episode. I have loved hearing your questions and your real life situations as we have gone through this series. Your engagement makes our relational learning come to life, and I so enjoy hearing your voice and knowing what you are processing.
So for the final episode of this series, I’ll be answering a few of those questions. Thank you so much to everyone who shared and sent me one.
Here are the questions we are looking at:
What do you do when you feel your situation is due to past sin?
+ The cross is a definitive end to the past because it sets us free from sin.
+ We are no longer subject to a past that Jesus has paid a price for.
+ We are now free to discover who we are now and who we get to become next.
+ Jesus has taken away sin and now we are learning to be righteous.
How do I come into alignment with the Father and His thinking?
+ Alignment doesn’t depend on us, it comes because of Jesus in us; He is our alignment.
+ When the Father put us into Jesus, He put us into the same relationship He has with Jesus.
+ In Christ, we are already aligned; we are learning how to make that real by becoming sensitive to Him.
+ When we focus on Jesus, the alignment He has with the Father becomes ours.
How can I understand His grace for my situation?
+ Grace is the empowering presence of God that enables us to become the people that He sees when He looks at us.
+ We can give grace to people by the way we interact with them.
+ We get to partner with God and His grace so that our situations get an upgrade.
+ God has more grace that we can possibly need for our situations, and that grace is available to us.
Thanks again for joining me on this series. I love the whole aspect of story and journey. I’m really excited for you to continue to experience how much your story and journey includes Him, and all the truth you are learning along the way.
