In this episode, I’ll be answering two questions that have been sent in from members. I really enjoy receiving these questions, hearing your voice, and knowing about your growth in these fruits. They allow me to engage with your learning and be apart of your process with the Lord.
The two questions we are looking at are:
When you have self-control, are you under the guidance of the Holy Spirit?
+ Self-control helps us change over from one practice to another, from old to new.
+ The key part to walking with the Holy Spirit is intimacy and sensitivity to His presence.
+ We are learning to expect God’s presence, voice, and will as well as the Fruits of the Spirit to always be with us.
How do you stay connected to the Fruits of the Spirit during times of physical pain?
+ God will be your healer and your keeper.
+ You are a well person fighting off sickness, not a sick person trying to get whole.
+ The Fruit of the Spirit will keep you sharp and held in the Presence of God during sickness and physical pain.
+ Physical pain and sickness does not mean you are losing anything. It gives you a crash course in the presence of God.
Thanks again for sharing your questions and being apart of creating a relational community of learning and transformation. Keep sending us your questions and letting us know about your current learning with the Lord. We are your online community.
We so enjoy being with you!
